When I was younger I was in LOVE with the Pony Pal series. My friend and I pretended we were the Pony Pals. I recently started reading one and it didn't interest me as much because I'm older but they were still great so I started reading it to my little sister.
The Author Jean Betancourt did a great job giving the characters personalities and most of the mysteries are very unpredictable. I would Highly recomend these for children 9 through 13.
